Default I did a little something for myself

I got a great price on my STI with the ability to walk out with this leased and paying off one of my credit cards to zero.

It actually is saving me over $300 a month when considering the payments on the card, the drop in insurance and the old car payment. Man am I good at justifying purchases.............scary.

At any rate it is saving my back considerable pain. It certainly is not as quick and sporty as the STI, but it is very comfortable and has plenty enough power for me.

This was probably an impulsive move, but it did put a big smile on my face which has been long overdue.

OK, but now to bring it down a notch from your expectations - it's an automatic!

I don't blame you... I'd have a hard time buying a stick daily driver too if my back were always bothering me. I was originally planning on a 5MT swap into my SVX, but I'm much happier with the 4.44 4EAT that ended up in there.

This is the first automatic that I have owned other than my wife's car. It is definately not too bad. It has a sport mode as well as a manual mode - 6 speed. It shifts really fast with practically no hesitation and it rev matches on the downshift which makes for very smooth downshifting.

Probably the most amazing aspect of the motor is that it gets 300#' of torque at 1400 rpm and holds flat until 5000 rpm.
