im having a little difficulty finding what would be the absolute best system to buy. i have a couple of choices and want to know your opinion. if you have heard these please say all you can about your experience.
choice 1
Rainbow Power CMX http://car.rainbow-audio.de/products...=2&pro=1&lin=6
choice 2
Kicker SS 65.2 http://www.cardomain.com/item/KIC04SS652
or
choice 3
Infinity Kappa Perfect 6.1 http://www.cardomain.com/item/INFPERFECT61?vq_id=none

these are going to be run by an alpine IVA-D105 Head unit and an MFP-450 4 channel amp by alpine pushing 150w per channel

or do you have any other suggestions..

chris

I have heard the infinity speakers and was really not impressed with the sq vs. the price. I have a pair of Alpine Type-R components in my rex now and I am totally happy with them "other then the massive labor it takes to install them". I picked them up for $60 on ebay which also made me happy. I don't know if I would buy another Alpine head unit though. They look clean but I think i'm leaning toward pioneer for more sound control options. Oh and I have the Alpine MRV-F 345 powering them.

ok cool,. but as for alpine, i have never heard the high level speakers. are they really noticeable compared to the infinities? im really wondering how the rainbow speakers sound cause they are not very common and there is only one store in the us that they are sold at so if anyone has heard any set of speakers from that line please post. thanks in advance

I ran 6.5" Infinity Kappa Components in my truck for about 6 years, 2 different versions and was very impressed. Also had 10" Infinity Subs and Infinity Amps in there. The price is a bit pricier than most but I loved them all around. Truck was sold to buy a WRX. I did not like Choice 1 or 2 but agreed with the Alpine Type-R's. They are great for the money, especially the eBay price! Never heard the Rainbows, don't care for the Kickers, But out of your 3 choices though Infinity, from experience. Or Alpines if you want to save a little dough and stray from your list

cool, thanks for the input. i ran 6x8 kappas in my van when i had it... RIP "laggin' wagon" and i was very impressed i spent about 400 all together and felt satisfied. im going for components cause im an audiophile and i have the money now to afford my taste. i def. like the infinities but i also want to try something different. i think the rainbows are going to be outta the question because they are in the 500 range per pair. and only one retailer sells them in the united states.. but! i did get to hear a pair and i have never heard such a crisp clean and magnificent set of components in my life! to anyone that gets a chance to get them and love audiophile sound GET THE RAINBOWS!! i think im going to go with the alpine components int the front and coaxials in the back. thank you all for your help.
