Default New Project

This is my newest project, its gonna be a one peice at a time deal. With guidance from the other half of the SECCS shooting team, I hope to have a real nice AR15 by the time I am done.

I installed the magazine release mechanism and spring last night. But then I couldn't find my drift punch and hammer. I think they were in the mustang when it was stolen. GRR!!!!

I've got an old semi-auto '22 rifle that hasn't been cleaned or shot for like 10 years. My Grandfather bequeathed it to me before he passed but he never taught me how to shoot it or anything. I guess it would be fun to take it shooting, but one of you guys feel like taking a look at it and maybe teach me how to clean it to make sure it's not dangerous first?

I'd help you out with it, but I honestly don't have the time anymore. I am currently working two jobs, which totally eats up my spare time.

Yeah, sure. Brian, let me know if you don't get to it, and we'll have him bring it out on some range session.

Yup, same here. This thread is going to be a work in progress. Hopefully, it will end with a 600 yard video with the help of Scotty.

Well, I have the lower reciever all put together. The only thing it needs is a special torque wrench that Scotty has. Hopefully, he will bring it tonight to the meet. Anyway, my stupid internet security at work won't allow me to upload the newest picture to imageshack. So, if I can email it to someone, can you host it for me? Anyone?

Uh, can't we still attach pics directly to the forums?

How's the fit of the upper, BTW?
