RPM is pretty fun.

But the place in Roseville is better, provided you bring a baggy of vegetable oil.

Sounds sexy.

I didn't really like RPM. The people that worked there all seemed like we were bugging them, and try had something else they needed to be doing, even tho we were the only ones there. And it was pretty damn expensive for them to not give me a handjob free with each race...

No doubt there are better ways to spend your money on racing, but it's still a good time.

Worst part though is having the guys black flag you for "pressing the gas and brake at the same time". No shit dipwad, I'm left foot braking with the throttle on the floor... for all of about the 1/3 of a second it takes to pitch the back end out to go around the corners WOT.

If they don't want people to do that, they should let us drive karts w/ hand operated clutches instead of a crap centripetal clutch that requires you to leave the throttle down if you want to be able to accelerate w/o a ton of clutch lag and upsetting of the kart's balance.

And the veggie oil is for making your own slick track... and also for getting kicked out of the place.

I learned if you go in your own driving suite they single you out to a sickening degree.

So i just always use their crap now... Its fun, ya a lil pricey but meh where else were you going to go racing this weekend?

is the place in Roseville better Karts? or just better rates?

No, the place in roseville is at the Golf and arcade place, the carts are slow..Many of the people on this board were kicked out of that place due to the "incident"

I live right around the corner from RPM, but I hate the employees there. Impossible to have fun, and they don't make fatass driving suits, lol.

Have fun, just not really my thing.

The greatest part about the driving suits is the polyester headsock they give you as a cootie guard for the helmet. Nothing like wrapping your head in meltable plastic for the ultimate in fire safety!

What I wonder is, if they don't actually make you wear the suit for fire safety (as demonstrated by the flamable headsock), what is the suit for to begin with?

to keep lose clothing and hair out of the moving parts. and it adds to the Experience for those whose highest level of racing is Karting...

I may also combine the Karting with some RAllyX practice at Prarie city. Obviously no one on here would drive their car with in the OHV park except me. BUT i do have 4 open seats.....

Same motivation for the doctor making you take your pants off when you wait for him?

You're supposed to do that in the office, not the waiting room, Kev. Less awkward moments that way.

And Scott, it's even better for fat kids. The biggest suits still don't fit anyone over about 250, so you end up with half a driving suit tied around your waist.........for it to get caught in the kart. This is America, we have stock car racing, I know they make suits that fit fat kids

Combine that with the seat shell not fitting anyone over an XL, and getting yelled at because you're defending your line against the 80lb kid trying to cut you up everywhere because he can defy the laws of physics on a straight and then come to a stop in the corners, and the place can suck it. Good times.
