Car: 2003 WRX Sedan - Blue
Default Need help from the dark side....

A friend of mine just picked up an Evo 8. Is there anyone out there that knows these cars well that could come out and look over the car and give us some advice? It has some sort of Apex-i fuel controller and supposedly a turbo from an Evo 9.... The car needs a new clutch, so that is on its way - we are going to put it up on jackstands tomorrow and start going through the car in the evening. We would like someone who knows evo's well that could tell us if there is anything else we should do/check in the car. I am not a fan of the Apex-i controllers and told him he may want to revert back to stock or get it tuned professionally if it turns out it isnt the stock turbo...

Any help would be appreciated - Thanks

Does anyone happen to have a lower intercooler hose for an Evo 8 - the car needs one to replace the one that is on the car with a huge gash.

Also need a turbo heat shield and cam cover - I know that its unlikely that anyone has these laying around, but you never know...
