I tried the demo, and it seems pretty cool, but ultra-violent hack-n-slash just isn't really my style.

And it really pisses me off when I plow through a group of enemies only to get taken out by the one that lost both legs and an arm but somehow hasn't died just yet. Seriously. . . having them crawl up with their remaining limb and suicide bomb me? It's like an army comprised of John Cleese clones. "It's only a flesh wound!"

After spending a few minutes watching sperry make creatures with the Spore Creature Creator, I had to get it also to see what kind of phallic animals I can make.

That's what makes it fun! If he hasn't kicked the bucket yet, walk over, kick his head up off the ground, and cut that som-bish off!

Definitely a challenging game, and I'm loving it!

BTW: If you've got the creature creator, you can just save the images to the desktop, then drag them onto the application and it uses the filename to go online and pull down the actual model data and opens the creature. Nice thinking on EA's part... would be even nicer if you could skip the desktop step and open a link to the creature directly.
