Pretty good deals for tires that are fantastic for summer street tires, and pretty good for autocross too.

Man, $85 in 245/40/17. I could save a ton of money if I just kept my existing wheels and picked those tires up. I feel like a wheel whore and a penny pincher are fighting inside my brain.

The tires are a great deal regardless of what wheels you put them on. IIRC though, they're a minor downgrade since you're running RE01s, right?

Yah, I am. They probably have like 10 events left in them before they cord too. I was planning on doing Starspecs which are $149 each in that same size.

No reason for me to buy tires now. They'll just sit in my garage until the middle of next season.

They're not half off what they're worth. If they were, then I'd consider it more seriously.

Well, they're about half as much as Dunlops, but a lot more than half as good. So there's that.

That said, if I needed tires I'd go with the Dunlops just to keep up with the Davises!

I picked some up somewhat due to that reasoning a little while ago when I saw this deal.

Well yah, for Summer tires, it's a great idea. But for autox, it just sucks that you'd be leaving a little bit on the table. Still, great budget tire.
