Wow.... as they say "Kuhmo, way to go!"

So, if you got a set of the new V710s, they're going to immediately replace them w/ shaved & heat cycled V700's or Victos, *and* give you a new set of version 2.0 V710's when they come out?! That's awesome customer service!

Anyone wanna sell me a set of used V710s?!

Sorry Scott, we can only accept your first answer. No free tires for you...

It's not a TireRack thing, it's because the Kumho victoracer 710s are defective. Unless you bought the R compounds, Big O isn't going to do anything.

You can't really run any of the V tires (V700, V700 Victoracers, V710) on the street. They're R-compound competition tires... you'd get about 2000 miles out of 'em and spin if you ever happen to run through a puddle.

The Supra 712's are good tires... I used to have them on my 18" SubZeros, but when it came time for street tires for my P1's I went with the Falken ST115's because the 712's were a little too agressive and noisy for me... if I want that I'll just toss the Azenis on and go tear around.

712s suck donkey snowballs

Skip them and go straight for the MX's I say

They work the same in the wet/snow, have about the same stiffness of sidewall, but the MX is infinitly stickier and actually amazingly longer lasting.

245/45WR17 Ecsta MX: $127 / tire

245/45WR17 Supra 712: $90 / tire

That $150 saved could be spent on something else if you don't care that much about which street tire you're using.

There is more than a $150 diffence in terms of quality between those two. I mean, the 712's are just suckage, total waste of money.

They work just fine for tooling around town, and seem to last a long time.

That's funny... I remember beating you at a Reno AutoX on my 18's w/ 712's.
