			Street tires, either Hankook RS3s or Dunlop StarSpecs. You're still a fairly inexperienced driver as far as I know, and it's both safer for you to be on slower tires as well as better for your learning curve. The less your car can cover up your mistakes, the faster you will learn, just like at autocross. 			Just pick up some Federal RS-Rs. Cheap, decently reviewed track ready tires that you can burn through without burning through a bunch of money. Under 150/each in a lot of 18" sizes. Run about as wide as star specs, a 255 is a bit over most 265s.

			My KDW 2's seemed to do pretty good the last PDX event but they started to feel "greasy" by the end of the day on the track. I still slid around with those a few corners.  
		
		
		
		
		
		
			I'd love to get out to Auto-x in the STI, I just seem to always have something going that day. I'm kind of looking for 295/30/18 (18x10.5 TE37 SL).. so i bet that narrows it down a bit of what will and will not be readily available..
