Club Name and Logo - Subaru Enthusiasts Car Club of the Sierras

Okay, here's some ideas I've got for an "official" club name, since Doink doesn't make very much sense as a car club name..

RASO: Reno Area Subaru Owners club
RASOC: Reno Area Subaru Owners Club
RASE: Reno Area Subaru Enthusiast club
RASEC: Reno Area Subaru Owners Club

All of these acronyms have .us domain names available (which I don't mind registering) and RASEC has a .org available!

Here's some generic euro-oval looking type logos (no, I'm not feeling that creative this morning

) BTW: I'm just now noticing the thumbnailing in the gallery doesn't work for .gifs... hrmmm.

Of course these'd be changed to match whatever name we like best.

I'm partial to the "Enthusiast" ones, since we're more than just "owners" but RASO is the easiest to remember/say. It'd be sweet to have a .org domain name too, so that helps RASEC up on my list... what does everyone think?

my .015 cents... just a suggestion. reno is sooo small why dont we broaden are group by saying "sierra" that way if people from lake tahoe or truckee or carson, feel the need to join they arent pissed off by having reno stickers on their cars. thats what they did for the sportbike club. also it will increase our numbers. (hopefully)

So far a lot of them sound good. I like the idea of 'import' or 'sports car' club. Since we sometimes have a few cars there other then Subaru's and Impreza's.

SNSEC: Sierra Nevada Subaru Enthusiasts Club

It's straight forward, and covers pretty much what the club is about, right?

I'm thinking of registering one or several of the following domains:

SNSEC.com, .org, .net, .us or SierraNevadaSEC.com, .org, .net, .us

with the most likely being SNSEC.org. And I guess it'd be pronounced: "SenSec"

I'll sit on this for a few days to see if you guys are more clever than I and can win the cookie with a better idea!

SECS is alright also b/c four letters we make a logo look better

SACC=SeirraAreaCarClub

SICK=SeirraImprezaCarKlan(Klan is kinda offensive but who cares)

RACE=RenoAreaCarEthusiast (of course with the word Race on your car you are aksing for trouble, evan)
