Since I am keeping it, I have decided I need gauges again. But I have been thinking of getting something different. Basically....this:
Defi Link Display unit Quote:
Any opinions?

That setup sounds sweet. How much is it for the display, the controller and all the sensors you need?

That's what I was planning on getting after I sold you my AutoMeters.
I've got the Defi Link II and the boost gauge so far. That was about $250. IIRC to add the display and the sensors for oil temp, oil pressure, water temp, and EGT was going to be another $900 or so. Which is why I still only have the boost gauge. ![]() Also, the display is sorta blue/green in color... I want either red or white... I was hoping if I waited long enough they'd come out with a different color.

Air fuel gauge = useless, unless it's a wideband.
You should have a boost gauge if you're planning to turn up the boost, and I dont know about any temp gauge, I think they're all useless, because things can go wrong at xxx degrees or xxxx degrees, it just depends on your car... my opinion atleast. Plus your engine should throw the cell if anything goes wrong in that department - I know durango's do ![]()

I don't know if the Display will do fuel pressure... I thought it was only:
RPM MPH Water Temp Oil Temp Oil PRessure EGT That's why you need an actual boost gauge on the defi link. And w/o starting up the argument again, I'd still put the EGT in the #3 header, esp. since the defi's go up to 2000F.

Yeah, but then you'd have to run the heater on full blast all the time or you get inaccurate readings :?
