I've got some unedited video clips from ESX. The car's on the P1's in those. Once I can edit it down to somthing smaller than a single 800MB .WMV I'll post 'em up.

Cuz I just updated that picture like a month ago. I've still got 11 more months before I'm supposed to do it again!

there's nothin wrong with RICE! I come from the land of rice, where you can buy 50lbs bags of it infact. Those stickers look damn fine and should get you a hella lot of looks! Also, that wing just adds the cherry to the top. Ultimate rice.

Did i mention those white rims look great on your car?

looks awesome scott. congrats

Thanks man. I really do like the way the car look... for the track! But sometimes I worry it's too much for the street. I'm probably just paranoid that the cops are gonna come down on me, or that the highschool kids are all gonna try to race me and crash into me or something... I also feel like I should be driving faster just to prove my car's not just "show", it's primarily "go", but then I'm that retard that's drifiting all over the place (*cough* Kevin) acting the fool.

Liking it is one thing... getting 2 tickets a month to like it would be another. 'Course that's just the paranoia talking, I haven't actually noticed additional police attention. However, it's not the Reno PD I'm worried about, it's the CHP and Sacramento PD that worry me. They may not be able to give me fix it tickets but they can surely pull me over an harass me.

I am definatly more worried about Reno/Sparks/UNR police and NHP over California police authorities. At least if you get a ticket in Cali, your insurance company will never find out about it...

Well considering all the 5" exhaust trucks around here, I'm not too worried about the Reno PD pulling me over to check under the hood. In Reno you seem to be able to get away with stuff like that. CA police are *far* more likely to screw w/ imports.

Art-- I know we discussed this but for clarification, are you sure that if I get a speeding ticket, in California, going 98mph, that California will not share this with Nevada? What about my using AAA that is in both states? And it' won't effect my insurance etc?

Just curious,

Franz

I've had 2 tickets in the WRX, both in Cali, and my insurance here doesn't know about. Well, didn't know about it until Art read this post.

Nope. The won't find out. That is until California and Nevada become buddy states and share records like Cali already does with Oregon. Now, if you are using AAA in both states due to having seperate cars registered in different addresses or something...they might find out because your policies are tied togeather. But even then, I doubt it.

Lets just say I have received *a lot* of speeding tickets in Cali in the past 5 years, and no one has ever found out...

I am not saying its guarenteed, but I have never seen it happen where Cali and Nevada share. Maybe if the offense is HUGE or something...but I got a ticket for 105 near Auburn and Nevada doesn't know.

Oh and Scott - I have notified the proper people within Allstate to check up on your tickets....Bwhahahahahha....Just kidding.

Scott, the car looks good, but I have a question....

did they actually sponsor you, and give you some free isht? or did you just go buy the stickers and put them on?

IMHO, thats the difference between being rice or not.

also, I like the HELLA's, but the projector fog lamps gotta go, that IS just plain ole UNCLE BENS!

-Ted

oh yea, long time no see, howz everyone been? I'll prolly be making another trip up that way in the next few weeks....so I'll be sure to holla, maybe we could meet up again.

yes and no. They did a lot of work on the car, in exchange for some promo. etc...

I like the little projectors, they look great at night.

They're not rice... they look bad and work great! That's the exact opposite of rice, which is doing something for looks alone.

The fogs are Hella's too BTW. Since the big-ones are rally driving lamps, I lost the fog pattern, which is why I added the projectors. JC says the look like "buck-teeth" on my car.
