Yeah, I picked it up, and I'm pretty sure Scott did too.

Its fun. I haven't really had a chance to try it out on a controlled run.

I've got it too, but have yet to do a timed run with it. The skidpad/traction circle thing is fun though!

Is it worth the money? My roommate said he'd pay for it if I bought it.

For $12 or whatever it is? Its not bad. Seems more accurate than a G-Tech

It's quite a bit better than a G-Tech apparently... not that it's going to be perfect... but there were some guys that compared the iPhone to the latest G-Tech at a drag strip. The G-Tech was laughably poor, and the iPhone was only a couple of hundredths off the timing lights.

There's a video review of it on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0-DFbJQbeSY

For a pocket phone dyno, a couple hundreths isn't bad.

Do you think if I put in how much I weigh and ran as fast as I could it would give me my hp rating?

If you run the whole quarter mile, sure.

Tape the iphone to a shopping cart and push the cart as fast as you can for a 1/4 mile.
