Looking good. I just noticed the custom paint job on the front lip and are you missing side skirts?

I wouldn't say I've been *missing* it, Bob.

Maybe 06 wrx's don't all come with them from the factory?

It's a TR. TR's don't have sideskirts, painted mirrors, have cheaper seats, and a few other little differences.

no mines not a TR I looked at one and hated it for some reason. I have the wrx seats and the other little differances that the TR doesn't have. I just don't have the side skirts. But I'm looking at other 06's that aren't TR's and they don't have side skirts. So idk. It's a mystery. Haha. But I know for sure it's not a TR

Someone probably did a seat swap; it looks like someone went through and actually did what the TR was intended for; they took out the basic stereo and put in nav, put in what seats they wanted, swapped out wheels, etc. Nothing bad about a TR at all.

I'm going to buy some in a little while. I have a broken arm right now, so I'm not working. So it will have to wait a bit. Maybe even until the end of the year after I'm married...

EDIT: nevermind, I get my settlement money in September. Woohoo! What mods should I do?

I'm not sure what your settlement money is for, but usually it's best to put windfall income into an investment. Your car is *not* an investment... trust me.

Your getting married this year? If so, your going to need that settlement money.

I know you shouldn't spend it. But I already have a plan. I'm taking out $5,000 for the car, $15000 for starting my marriage. The other $250,000 is going into a 5 year locked account to let the money build from the interest.

And I was pushing a car out of the snow 3 years ago and got hit by a 16 year old that was driving WAY to fast for the conditions. I got hit by the car from behind, and pinned between the cars. It broke my tibial plateau under my left knee, and my right tibia. It took me almost 2 years to heal. And the doctors are still wondering if my right leg is fully healed or not. Anyway, that's the short story. I don't feel like typing the whole thing on my phone.

With that much, you should seriously just buy a hose and keep enough in reserve to pay the property taxes. In 2-4 years, odds are you can rent it out for a profit if you decide you and your wife need or want a different house. Housing is an awfully good investment right now if you can essentially pay cash.

Like Kevin said, you need to get that into a house while the market is in the dumps.

Car's already payed off. Payed straight up cash for it.

Yea, it was painful. It still is sometimes.

As far as a house goes. We were thinking about it. But we also were thinking about some other things. Like just living in my apartment that i live in now. It's SUPER cheap rent, and its a nice place. It's also just the right size for us. We don't really want anything bigger. But we will see once the time comes. Maybe we will change our mind.

Plus if you ever decide to have kids you can sell your house and make money. Or I guess you could just move out of your apartment and get your $600 deposit back.
