Yeah Dude. Thanks again for putting me in touch with him. He's definitely an amazing bike guru and I really didn't expect him to take that much time. He wouldn't even let me pay him so I just stuffed a wad of cash into the donation jar at the front.

He also recommended Great Basin Bicycles. He was concerned about some of the proprietary parts and tools this bike requires if there weren't a local dealer. Turns out Great Basin is a Cannondale dealer and he even called his buddy that works there to verify that all parts for this bike are readily available and that they work on them, which is the case so that's good.

He also turned me onto this trail guide that his buddy over there put together on their website: http://www.greatbasinbicycles.com/co...trail-map-page ...awesome resource. I've been looking for something like that.

I'm thinking that we didn't do that because the settings aren't just turning clicks on dials, but also putting air pressure into suspension reservoirs and I'm assuming you don't want to exceed the recommended pressures and blow out a seal...at least not while the bike is still owned by Scotty.

I will definitely mess with the dials that control compression and rebound damping though. Casey said that those are settings that are very much personal preference based on more than weight. He told me what to look for when the damping settings are set too slow or fast.

Yes, I'll fix it for you. Again.

Sounds like you are having fun with the technology, anyway. No issue on hanging onto it longer until the trails dry a little.

Great Basin is the place I was thinking of when we talked. I think they are down south now, right? I went in there years ago when they were up across from Park Lane Mall.

I've got some of the tools myself (since I still have a Lefty on the Rush), and anything I have you are always welcome to borrow.
