Tyson does not want the ecutek licensed ecu. Does anybody else. I'd hate to see this ecu go to waste - reflashed and back to the dealer.

Nick, how much for the endlinks then? I can give you my stockers in return if needed.

Is it an S-Squared license? If so, I'd happily take it, but I'm still beyond broke from 9 months of unemployment while trying to STi-ify my RS.

4EAT=no go, although you would just pay Nate for dyno time to retune for your mods. A reflashed ECU just means that it already has the $650 EcuTek fee on it... it can still be reflashed 90+ more times.

If the stockers are the ones on your car, I probably do not need them as I need to take them with me for the Sunday wrx chop day. If they are an extra set then that would help.

I found this out while shootin' the shit with the salesman after we closed the deal (not that I would have passed on this deal).
Congratulations on your purchase, can't wait to see it.

I'd be interested in the Rota torques and the tires, I'll need summer wheels. What would the price on these be?
I purchased the package from Subydude for 1200. Subydude offers the wheels alone right now for 700.

How does $850 sound for both wheels and tires.
Are the torques still available?

Just an update for those that are interested in the parts. We had a delay as the Dealership wanted to fix the transmission on the car before it was driven again. So they did fix the tranny and replaced the rear differential and delivered the car to Nate yesterday (I can't say enough how wonderful that dealership treated me with both the sale and the trade). At any rate Nate is working on removing the performance parts.

Tyson, as I mentioned to you last night, the suspension should be in your hands no later than the next meet (hopefully sooner).

Parts that remain for sale are:

17X8 Rota Torques w/ 235/40/17 ST-115
Whiteline Anit lift kit
ECU with Ecutek license (will be flashed to stock)
STI Intercooler
In case I forgot, check the original list?

Sorry I didn't make the meet last night, I will come next week. See you all then.

Oh I forgot:

I may be selling my gauge set and a-pillar pod. They are Omori gauges (boost, oil pressure and EGT in imperical units). It is an excellent match to the wrx.

I am considering getting the same gauges as Mike some day?

$500 for gauges and pod. These are basically new and were installed last June. If no one takes these, then I probably will just install them in the STI in a couple weeks.

Hey Nick,

I'm "teh brokezores" right now with all the brakes/repairs I've been doing, and I know that Ryan has dibs, but I want to let you know I'm interested in the STi intercooler. Sell it to whoever has money now... but if you've still got it in a few weeks, let me know!

I don't think so, but I can ask Nate. I think I remember Kevin saying it will not.

Ryan wanted to first unload one of his other intercoolers if I remember correctly. Ryan R U there?

If he's not interested, it's your's Scott.

I think the I/Cs that Ryan's got will either be too expensive or too large, but those are options I should look into as well.

Nick,

How much difference did you notice with the STI intercooler vs. stock?

Is it an easy swap? Fit's no problem in WRX?

I may be interested if no one else has picked it up.

Thanks,

Franz

I'm not sure what happens w/ a stock turbo. I would imagine the lag increases slightly, but it takes a little longer to heat-soak.

It should fit in the WRX, assuming it comes with hoses.

With tuning from Nate, we gained 12 whp with the addition of the intercooler. The fit is tight, but with a little cursing and slightly moving the ac line, it fits perfectly. Last I saw it, it had no bent fins. It is practically new. I think the biggest difference will be less opportunity heat soak.

But this was with the upgraded turbo, correct? So, this may not apply with the stock turbo and no "Nate-tuning."

Didn't you have a VF30 or something? I don't know that the stock I/C is so inadequate that the stock turbo will notice the bigger I/C temperature-wise.
