With no re-fueling now the top 10 drivers must start on their qualifying tires

What?

Does that mean that Q3 doesn't allow tire changes, or is everyone going to just duck into the pits to put on new tires just before the checkers come out?

I'm going to guess option B. With 5 minutes left, go out and make an ultimate lap run, then with 30 secs left pull in and change onto fresh rubber and dont head back out

Perhaps it means you have to start on the tires you set your fastest lap on so they dart in and out every 3 laps?

Pics of the Ferrari F10 from the official unveiling. The nose seems to stick out quite a bit.

Spy pics of the Williams 2010 challenger. Not fully liveried, but with some design changes.

And now the reveal of the McLaren MP4-25

http://www.autosport.com/gallery/index.php/id/1931

The shroud fin looks like its integrated with the rear wing. I'm guessing that's legal, but wow.

I think Renault did that in the past, but only for a few races... like at the last Montreal race and Monza or something IIRC.

Also... Button needs to get a drivers suit that fits him.

And here is the official video from the launch. Verdict? Lewis and Jenson get along very well (or so I'm told every 30 seconds).

Petrov confirmed as Renault's second driver at the car launch. And they went with their awful yellow/black livery from a while back.

BMW Sauber also launched their car today

Virgin Racing released their own car. The first car designed all with CFD and no wind tunnel work.

http://www.f1technical.net/news/14125
http://www.formula1.com/news/headlin...0/2/10395.html

So, we'll see how that works out for them.

Also, Stefan GP, which bought the resources of Toyota when they quit, doesn't have an entry but has shipped a container with their cars and gear to Bahrain for the opener.

http://www.crash.net/f1/news/156476/...r_bahrain.html

Either this guy has money to burn and is ballsy, or he knows something we don't.

Two things:

1) That Virgin car is hot looking!

2) Stephan GP actually seems ahead of Lotus, Campos, and USF1... I'd say they have a decent chance of making the grid if one of those 3 fail to make Bahrain. And even then, if they're there and ready to go, I can see Bernie strong-arming the teams into accepting a 14th entrant.

Agreed, that virgin car is bad...

Stephan will be on the grid...I agree Scott, the fact that they're ready and the others are ???, Bernie will let them run.

And here it is: Ecclestone push for Stefan GP in Bahrain with BSC in the cockpit.

The Force India VJM03. Nothing exciting to look at, except it seems they are doing the same thing as McLaren, having the engine cover fin connect to the rear wing.

Red Bull RB6 Launched. They are doing the whole shark-fin to wing thing too. But theirs seems a bit bigger.

The new Lotus team launched their car today.

http://www.formula1.com/news/headlin...0/2/10434.html
http://www.formula1.com/gallery/launches/2010/511.html

All the cars so far have looked beautiful, but this one for me takes the cake and I can't figure out why. Maybe its the return of British Racing Green that's got me.
