Default Need new snow tires. #*^#!

Hit a large rock (size of a large brick) last night on Crystal Bay hill, blew the sidewall out of my Nokian snows! Can't find another one anywhere, soooooo, it looks like I'll have to buy FOUR new tires. I'll also need a 4 wheel alignment and hopefully nothing else. Any suggestions? Does Cory do alignment/tires??

What does everyone like in terms of brand and studded vs. non-studded? My Nokians are studded and I'm not that happy with the constant noise.

Alternatively, if anyone has a Nokian snow tire 205-50-17 they don't want laying around I can brighten their Christmas.

This place appears to have most of the Nokian's in stock.

We have a whole thread on snows for this year.

Yes, KSpeed/Cory does it all.

Make sure you don't have some sort of road hazard coverage on those tires. Sure would be nice if you could get it replaced for free instead of having to replace all 4 on your dime!

Hey Kevin, what size were those good snows in the tire pile?

It would be OK to mix 2 X 2 if they are the same diameter.

I'm interested if there are 2 matching tires somewhere in a pile. My Nokians are around 24.6 inches in diameter.

Yeah, it would, however, I bought these (w/wheels) 2 years ago from a guy who moved to Arizona, so I have no warranty. They have been great tires, just NOISY.

They're either 225/45s or 215/45s, so not compatible with 205/50.

Lucked out, Craigslist produced a set of 4 Blizzacks with one season. Got a decent deal on them, now it's off to get aligned.
