Default wow new Car!

What difference a weekend makes.

BAN SUVs and I installed the coilovers on Friday. First impressions are they ride so nice and handle great. Whatever you had them set at seem pretty nice for street driving Nick. I have not adjusted the damping yet. I still need to get it alignened as I am running some SICK rear camber.

Today I went to Sean(drfunk) Lube shop on S. virginia. He dropped in some Redline shockproof. OMG MikeK you were right this stuff did wonders for the tranny, and on the way home it kept getting better and better.

New suspension , the "feeling" of a new tranny.

friggin whole new car.

And I still have to put my rear sway bar in. muahahah!

The camber in the rear is extreme with the stock bolts. I think it was somewhere around -2.8 if I remember correctly. I had the alignment done at the shop near vishnu. That totally sucked: he ended up using 2 sets of camber bolts to get the camber to -1.8. They were a total pain to take off when we removed the suspension.

Glad you like them. I think I had the dampening set somewhere in the middle. I think they have 23 way dampening if I remember correclty.

Enjoy!

Well we put 1 set of camber bolts in.

So I should be able to dial some of that out?

After the alignment i'll ramp up the damping to see what it's like.

Definately. Again, I was not sold on that alignment shop. They spent over 2 hours on the car.

It will get very taught.

they are only supossed to be 16 way adjustable, even though you can keep going you will destory them if you go beyond 16. I think Tein might have even put out a press release awhile ago that says dont go past 12!!!!! anyone else here about that?

He's got my old Apexi Type VN coilovers. You are correct about the tein though. The edfc does allow for 32 way, but those are half step increments so you still only have the same level of change as 16 way, you can just get all the 1/2 steps with the edfc.

Oops. Someone at Tein needs to learn about mechanism limiters.
