Does ordering aftermarket parts always take this long? I placed my order with Gruppe-S on the 13th, had the $999 charged on the 17th, and now it's a week later and I'm still waiting for shipping confirmation. I just sent an email this morning to check on its status.

I kinda need these to show up before I move, and I thought that I was ordering early enough

welcome to my fucking world.

last order from gruppe-s delayed over a week because of no other reason than a lazy shipping dept as admitted by Geoff.

I havent placed an order in the last 3 months that has shipped on time without incident or me pestering the living shit out them to do their fucking job.

[/endrant]

call geoff. dont eff around waiting and being a nice customer. call his ass and say, hey thought these were shipping, what the eff ? the longer you wait to apply pressure the longer your shipment will take.

welcome to the world of after market parts..........

Leason one - if it takes more then a week to get, its being drop shiped and no one cares about you when this happens. why? well its easy the shipper doesnt know you and has lots of product to ship with no priority list know to him, yours can be at the bottom of the pile. How to fix - GET A TRACKING NUMBER, this way you know that the product has been shiped out. It makes the seller get the distributor to send it as a priority because now they have to provide a tracking number. Now you know.

Lesson Two: Gruppe-S is hit or miss when it comes to parts. Some people here have had some issues, others have had nothing but good luck.

That said, Mike from Gruppe-S is on the board here occationally, and has a record of going the extra mile to take care of issues. Send a PM to GST Mike, he can probably help you out.

Check the vendor review forum: http://www.seccs.org/forums/showthread.php?t=3377

I'll give them a call tomorrow to find out what's going on.

Yeah, looks like my order "slipped through the cracks." It should ship tomorrow now, but I'll call to give 'em a bit of a nudge just to be safe

The guy that I spoke to on the phone (can't remember his name) was very helpful, though.
