Default big question...

So i have a 2004 forester XT and i have a very non legal exhaust setup. My friend has a 2005 wrx wagon. Will the wrx stock exhaust fit on my car just temporarily while i run through smog?

Yes, but the exhaust tip will be very close to your rear bumper cover, so don't leave it on there any longer than you have to. The downpipe is the same as yours though, so any catback that fits your car and a stock downpipe will get the smog job done. All catbacks are smog legal.
