Deal, did somebody say Deal? Oh, Dean, yeah that's me.

I saw this on another site and thought since Sierras is part of our name, it was appropriate.

I have no idea what all skis I have owned since I started skiing in the early 70s, but still have every board I have ever owned.

I love how poles have come full circle. I remember wooden poles with leather straps and rubber grips. then the the molded wrap around grips (pictured), and now I believe we are back to straps and molded grips.

Skis (Note lack of sidecut.)
195 Rossignol Stratos (Rock skis) I love the Look bindings, but never moved them.
203 Rossignol Equipe 4Ss

Boards:
Sims Blade 1711 with original bindings Don't call it a 171, that last millimeter is very important. This is probably a real collectors item.
Burton Craig Kelly Air 161. I have both the original 3 and 4 buckle bindings 3D bindings for it. Still pre twin-tip.
K2 Eldorado 173 with Clickers.

I'll have to post a pic of the old Burton board I bought from Sperry. It has like a scene out of Star Wars on it or something. Or maybe they're snowmobiles shooting lazers?

I'm pretty sure they're combat snowmobiles...

Yep. Definitely your standard issue red/blue combat snowmobile.

Oh look, and there is my old board too.

Option something or other.
Rossignol bindings something or other.

I can't remember specifics cause I bought the board and bindings used.

When I skiied a lot in the late 80's I had Dynastar somethings, 170's I think. They were part of a package deal from Mogul Mouse. They finally found their new home at WARC last year. (I wonder, I can't picture anyone buying them so maybe they went into the dumpster after that.)

I'll bet they're hanging in someone's dorm room as vintage decor.

Wow @ the Sims Blade!!
That was the first board I bought back in '86-'87!! Had to hike Mt. Rose summit and learn in waist deep powder with that thing....it wasn't a "hike friendly" board.
I believe they replaced the Kidwell model with the Blade. I loved the Kidwell, but never got my hands on one.
I wish I would have kept the Blade, but I traded it in on a Look Lamar Trick Stick.
Tore the binding inserts right out of the Look on a simple heel side turn.
Cheapest POS board I have ever seen, but it was pretty. All Day glowed out.
I stuck with Sims boards since then and currently have a Sims Daytona 62 that makes a good coat rack, and a "Capt. Morgan spiced rum" board that I won from Bully's years ago....I don't even know who made those, but it seems like it would be a good ride.

I can't believe I learned to ride on the Blade. It is huge, has no side cut and look at the foot position compared to the Elderado which is basically the same length.

The only way to turn in less than a mile was to slide the back of the board around. Boy did it float in the powder though. I was totally shocked when I got the shorter Kelly with the huge side cut relatively speaking. I had to learn to ride all over.

Not that I have done it, but the Eldo was supposed to be the "hike" board especially with the Clickers as you could just tether it to your belt and it would pull along behind you without the bindings getting stuck or digging in.

Dean those 4s equipe where "the ski" in the day. My how things have changed though over the years. The big thing with skis now is width.

These are mine:

194 length, 110 at the foot.

You think that's wrong? One of my friends that I ski with often, has skis as wide as your snowboard.

That is worse. They must be water skiing trick ski blanks/molds.
