The way out is through
Default I got a raging deal at Harbor Freight

I went in to HF reluctantly after reading decent reviews on their heavy-duty 16-speed drill press. I figured it would be something I'd only use infrequently, and therefore would risk the purchase of a made in China power tool since it was going to save me a few hundred bucks over a brand name.

I also wanted to pick up a hydraulic press, since the price is less than the cost of an hour of shop time to have someone else press wheel bearings for me.

So I'm in there looking at the drill presses trying to figure out if I could get by with the $99 on-sale smaller model rather than buying the $220 big model that had the decent reviews. I'm BSing with this guy about the differences and he ends up telling me "actually, I've got a similar drill press at home I'll sell ya". And then when I mentioned I needed a press too, he tells me he's got the exact same HF press at home as well.

Well, seemed a little odd. I figured I might be in for some rapeage or something. So I looked up the drill-press on my iPhone (Shop Fox) and sure enough it's right in line with the HF model, plus it's got an oscillating feature so it can be used as an oscillating drum sander.

So I ended up buying both the drill and the press from the dude... and saving enough money on the deal to be able to buy the ball-joint taper reamer I'm going to need to be able to build my own SVX to STi ball-joint adapters.

So for once, Harbor Freight totally came through for me... by acting like Craig'sList.
