Deal, did somebody say Deal? Oh, Dean, yeah that's me.
Default Scheels (Flying Disc isle and other discussion)

That place is really quite incredible...

Best of all, well, maybe not, but at least really cool is that they have 2 or maybe closer to 2 sides of one isle of Frisbees(tm), DisCraft and Inova (sp?) discs.

Hundreds if not thousands of disc golf discs, and a smaller number of ultimate and recreational discs, bags, golf baskets, etc. etc... and prices are very reasonable.

Otherwise, the place is just imense with most any sporting related item imaginable almost.

They also have a NASCAR simulator which they claim has a road course, but I can't find any info on it. They said it was not a "real" course, but one the company made. Have to do some more research on it though.

Haha, a few days too late! That's awesome though. I guess I'll have to stop in at some point. I wonder if they would have had a box of Sierra 6.5mm 142gr Matchkings?

Some mistakes are too much fun to only make once

I went in there a few weekends ago looking for a pound of Longshot gun powder for reloading shotgun shells. Sportsman's Warehouse didn't have any. My only mistake in going to Scheel's, was it was the grand opening weekend. Still, that place is very cool. All kinds of good stuff, with competitive prices. Longshot at Sportsman's = $18.99, at Scheel's $19.99 per pound.

I couldn't complain.

Still no M1? Only one match left this year! I also need to get you that ribbon! Maybe some long range outing coming up in a week or two. I'll let you know.

I'm game for some long range stuff. I think that would be fun.

The M1 is still on my wish list, but alas I haven't the kind of money to put towards something like that. The new AR lower will become a full length target rifle with 1:7 twist RRA NM upper. I want a highpower style rifle so that I can get back into some sort of shooting that will net me the qualifications for a CMP Garand. Much cheaper that way.
