I think there's a thread or two here somewhere with some good info, if you run a quick search on it.

I'm looking at getting some stuff powder coated soon, I'm not sure where I'm going yet, but I'll let you know how things work out.

I have extra set of stock rim for my S but the Powderman on Marietta in Sparks won't do it. They said because of the heat it will weak the structure of the rim??? true? If not I need someone who willing to powder coated them too.

Julian (the Powderman) doesn't really think that the heat is a problem, but he unwilling to risk somebody breaking/bending a rim and then blaming him (and maybe suing). He says there are too many people "out there on the internet" that think it is a problem. There is another thread somewhere arguing the reality of powdercoating and its weakening of aluminum rims.

He also seems reluctant to take on new customers lately, and his turnaround time has been kinda bad too. His price is usually unbeatable though.

+1 I had them do a huge squat rack that I made a few years back. They were pretty fast, fair priced, and very professional.
