Default Engine porn...

Since the motor was overheating due to a lifted head gasket (because the heads had been underpreped after they came of the blown motor), Gruppe-S sent 'em out for some work. Here's the finished result!

Doink's block: '06 STI 2.5L, cometic gaskets, ARP studs

Heads: freshly cleaned and decked, new valve seals and guides, relashed

Check out that porting!

Especially exciting porn when it belongs to yourself. Congrats Sperry. I can't wait to see the monster when it is ready to go.

Just 'cause you can't seem 'em all at once doesn't mean half are missing!

Hopefully things will be done mid next week... I'm waiting on some minor bits and pieces to get shipped to the shop... you know little things like a turbo and water-injection kit.

That's hot, I want a ride next time I'm home. Though it has to be at night so no one sees me.

Yes, I'll fix it for you. Again.

I think I'll save my inaugural ride in a WRX for this. After that, STi's and stuff will seem tame.

Thats cool. I want to get water injection... dont really want to pay for it though! Oh, and slowboyracing is doing turbo testing on the dsmtuners.com forums... up next is their 20g, so I'll try to let you know how it goes. If you take full potential of that turbo, your car will HAWL ASS.

PS

I read that you got a 20g.

Oh, and doink... I have a favor. Um... either get a sticker or license plate cover or something that you can put on your car that says something like "powered by mitsubishi". Cool?

That is something that always gets people. The stock WRX's come with Mitsu turbos too (13G to be precise).

Bah! I'd like to race my butt-tuned, self built mitsu vs your professionally built and tuned mitsu hybrid if you ever get it back... no turns aloud tho!

No shizzle? Those are the VR4 turbos. What turbo does the STI come with?
