Default For Sale: 04 SILVER STI, $18.5k / OTHER ITEMS F/S

I hate to do it but its time. My 04 STI is up for sale. It has high miles, 82K mi, but it has been well maintained. I use the veh. in my business which takes me over to Oroville and Chico on a regular basis. Mostly frwy. and cruising at 65mph. Mobil 1 and syn. trans and diff since 3000 mi.. Oil and filter changes at 3000 mi since new.
Body, paint and interior in Great condition. Engine & drivetrain also Great. The car has never been in any type of collision. The car is stock, other than K&N filter, stainless Stop Tech lines and syn. brake fluid., WRX c/d changer and radio (needs sub woofer). The r/r strut is making the well known klunking noise and will be replaced before I sell it . I think SOA is going to take care of it.
Yard Sale:
4 Roto 17x7 1/2" Sub Zeros. Silver with polished lip. These wheels have less than 500 mi., on my last WRX, they are hub centric and are 48 offset. They really are flawless. $400 or trade?
1990 Eagle Talon TSI/AWD, 5 spd., A/C, all options. Body, paint, and leather interior are Pristine. The veh is one of the cleanest original Talons you will find.
Now comes the the problem, about 3 yrs ago I put a rebuilt long block in it, and after about 10K mi, one of the exhaust manifold studs broke off in the head. I tried to easyout, the damn thing, to no avail. So its been sitting for 2 yrs. I Have all the maint. and repair records since it was new. $999 obo
Thanks, Jerry C 530-265-6343 Nevada City Area.

Jerry not to nitpick but your post is really hard to read. You might what to put in some hard returns between items like the car and wheels and the other car for sale. Maybe bold some of the headlines. I almost stopped reading after the wheels.

Good luck with the sale. that STi has been driven. Nice to see a high mileage 04 doing well with no problems.

Dean should buy the STi as a auto-x, track car!

Thumbs up Composition

Sorry Ty,
I am a prime example of what happens when you find out about Girls & Cars in your Freshman year of H.S.
I can't tell you the name, of even 1, of my H.S. Teachers. But I can tell you, the first and last names, and many details about, every girl I dated back then. Damn, that was 45 yrs. ago!
I guess we all have our priorities !! I still love fast cars, and I married the fastest young lady I could find.

LIFE IS GOOD!!!!

I think that everytime somebody gives a description of their DSM it's prefaced by this statement But seriously do you have any pictures of it?

$1000 for an AWD car? Minor motor issues or not, it's still a good deal, especially for being in good shape.

I will attempt to post some pictures as soon as the rain stops. Going on Craig's List today, & BADSM this evening.

Hi Debbie,
Just been super busy this last year. I hope that hiring 2 new emp.'s will free me up for some leisure time.
Read about you in Road & Tach all the time! You are really getting FAST!!! Nice going! Whatever I buy, I better let you run it , so I can have some real #s to shoot for!
It will probably be another STI. Normally I get a new business car every 2 yrs. But this one is so much fun, I kept it almost 3yrs.
Hope to see you soon.

Default 05 STi 18k Miles $28k

One of my car dealer buddies called me today while I was visiting with Slicknick here in seattle, to tell me one of the used lots was taking in a 05 low mileager on trade. Not to many details at this point, but I know this car is being sold at auction for about 5k over book prices due to its popularity.

Anyone interested pm me.

I dont know why the hell I posted this here.....someone shoot me! edited for ignorance! sorry

Thats not a great deal for a used one and 18,000 is over the amount of miles that car should have you can get a 06 for just over 30,000 and its new you know whats been done to it and how it has been driven also used car apr suck right now no matter how good your credit is apr for new is much better! So that few thousand you think you saved you really didnt!!
