That guy pretty much summed up my thoughts on Ford's iron-block 4.6L...

What car is that? It looks like a previous generation Legacy, with a 4.6L Furd motor in it! He's right about that motor btw, I had one in my T-Bird. Put out a whopping 220hp, on a good day.

Edit: I just realized that 220 doesn't sound that bad considering the WRX comes with 227 stock. But consider 220 hp out of a motor that's 2.6L *bigger* than the WRX motor, *after* adding intake and exhaust, in a car that weights 4100 lbs w/o a driver, and has an open rear differential, and you start to see what I'm talking about.

only thing I could think of in the title
I know the type you play with are well beyond stock so the coments need not apply to the Mustangs you work on drive but it was to funAy to pass up on the post

Ford should have kept using the 5.0L block in the Mustang instead of shoehorning a luxury car motor into it... nimrods. That 4.6L is as big as a houseboat...

No, they should have developed a DOHC HO FI 5.0L w/ four valves per cylinder instead of cramming their low power to weight/displacement motor in there. For crissakes that 4.6L is their low-end truck V8!
