So my work blocked renoscca.org, but I can still get on here. Could anyone point me in the right direction to get an assigned number for my car to auto X. I picked up an annual scca membership and would like to get a number plate made since I probably won't be running novice next season

I think Tim, Reg chief, or Kevin M, chief of timing and scoring will be able to help you with that.

Are either of them on this board? Maybe I could send them a pm to get the ball rolling and see what exactly I need to do.
Thanks

Tim is the guy to talk to, and he's on RenoSCCA.org as Timothy5509. PM him what you're looking for.

My advice is to get individual number and letter plates that you can rearrange regardless of whether your preferred number is available. It's well worth it.

The final two events have been modified to all day, 3 rungroup events and moved to Mt. Rose upper parking lot.

I was stoked to be back to Stead, but oh well. Does this have anything to do with the airplane accident?

Edit: nevermind, it does. http://www.renoscca.org/forums/showthread.php?t=1280

Boy, talk about a wild-card thrown into the old PAX race! Should be exiting running at a somewhat untested venue. I'm bummed about Stead but understand 100% why. There is a large hole in the pavement and a lot of jet fuel residue all over the place, right where we run. Also, it sounds like the tear-down of all the air race infrastructure is being delayed by the investigations, etc. Also, I have to imagine the RTAA wants some quiet time to deal with the pending onslaught.

It's been a great autocross season, I'm just happy we could find a replacement on short notice.

How does a mini get the top raw time?

I coned on my fastest run, of course. I was so sure it was clean too, but neh. It would have narrowly given me top raw but Matt still would have wooped me in PAX regardless. I can only pray that tomorrow's course is more open, but we're on a pretty small lot. I predict that Matt's gonna be unstoppable again tomorrow, but we'll just have to see.

Oh, and who else saw me blow a bunch of white smoke out the tailpipe on my first run today? A spectator mentioned it. Sucks because I thought swapping the turbo out had fixed that issue. I should really install catch cans.

Cody, I was watching you on your first run, that's the only time i saw the smoke and there was a lot of it. I didn't realize you had swapped your turbo, thought it was the same residual issue. But yeah it put out a huge puff then trailed off as you left the line.

Also, yeah, top raw and pax today was quite a result, I don't see that happening on any course but Mt Rose

Congrats Cody on the Pax win! Wish I could have been at those last events to see it go down. Three out of the the top four in subys (and 6 out of the top 10), and the ex-suby driver pulls down second. Congrats to Matt, Cory and Vic also.

Fun season this year. I liked the class groupings to bring some competition into the groups and less single entry classes. Can't wait until next year!
