Default wrx gas leak

Has anyone smeltgas in there wrx? Ive read in the NASIOC that this is a ongoing problem! Reno Subaru said they never heard of this!!!!

Do you have a link to the Nasioc thread?

Sorry I haven't heard of this, my car smelled of gas when we changed the fuel pump, but other than that...no.

The gas leak is a known issue. It's not a TSB, but there should be a note about it on the tech line. My car's never done it, and I don't ever remember anyone on this board mentioning it.

I'd check in with the NASIOC thread, and see if you can get the specifics about the problem and Subaru's solution. You might want to ask Lithia to call the tech line and ask about the issue, since I'm pretty sure there is some sort of note for service departments regarding the problem.

Coolness... That's the Route I want to take the EVO but I think the wife wants to take it over ... So who knows ... What I will get next??
