Anyone know if these are plug-n-play with the '02s? I'd love a center tach in my WRX, and the odo is almost exactly the same mileage as my car.

I would imagine it's plug and play as people put sti clusters in their bugeyes.

Is the '06 running CAN-BUS? If so I don't think it's compatible, otherwise it should work.

Does it have an outside temp display? That's what makes the sti cluster require some rewiring.

Yes it does have the outside temp display. When I swapped to the STI cluster I didn't mind not having the temp display.. That's what my smart phone is for

They went CANbus in 08. But, it does use a 32bit ECU, has AVCS and DBW, which I'm not sure will be a factor.

Best I could find we're people putting '05 WRX clusters into '02 WRX's. They were pretty PnP except the ABS light would stick on apparently. But I don't know what changed between '05 and '06. Certainly the addition of the temp display indicates there's a difference. For $60, I'm not really willing to screw around with it to find out... especially since my WRX isn't even running right now, nor does it really need a new cluster what with the RacePak display and all.

Maybe for $40 I'd be willing to grab it now and play around with it when I get the car back. If you don't have anyone else interested, PM me if something like that works for you.
