Oh, and you guys have me running for my life atop the PAX standings...this is going to be a tough finish to the season. I'm planning to miss the Sept events, so that might hurt.

A most impressive miracle worker fixed his car, such that it could win pax today.
Great job to you, and to all of the competitors this weekend. Wish I could have been there yesterday, but driving an awesome-mobile today made up for my sorrow.

That was awesome how we kept pushing each other to go faster. I was trying to eek out a better time to catch you and got bit by the marbles on my last run. Congrats on holding onto PAX until Silvio threw the smack down. I knew I shouldn't have given him a ride!

I had a blast, the course was fun!!
Looking forward to coming out for the next one at RFR, hoping for an even faster layout than this course RFR does tend to lend a 3rd gear blip.

Can i send $50 out with someone to the Autocross. i still haven't paid for Jeana and My RallyX entries (the june one)

I'll be out of town for the Mendocino rally. I'de like to entertain the idea of jamming back early on sunday to make it for the afternoon session ... but that won't happen .. so .. meh

maybe i'll bug cody, or Cory (who i already owe brake line money too) ... doh

btw still on a stock front line, its working great. LOL

so i think my car is pretty much done for. i ran fine at auto-x and on the way up to incline but as soon as i got to incline it started to overheat (top of the middle lines) i let it sit for about an hour and started it and i just started to overheated again

Weird. First the radiator, then the radiator hose, and now overheating? Could it simply be a bubble in the cooling system? Seems unlikely since it ran fine all day. Maybe thermostat?

Bummer. Head gasket is my bet. If you test the antifreeze, it will have all sorts of hydrocarbons in it.

Thanks Dude.

Check out this video Jason shot with his phone today. I forgot the camera was running.

I hope it's something simple Silvio. Good luck.

Nice vid^^

Sucks for Silvio, hope its something simple but Dean's probably right

Dean, how would you test the antifreeze? Is there a way to DIY, or do you have to send it in like oil?

Find a shop with or buy a Combustion leak tester.

Test fluid in the tube changes color in the presence of hydrocarbons.

They are like $25 or so on-line, probably $40 at parts stores.

Congrats Matt and Rachel!

Although I liked battling with Copper all the way to the last event last year, made it very interesting. But I guess now it doesn't matter that my tires are done.

You should drive on snow tires from now on just to rub it in.
