Default AP V2 Mounting Possibility

After the meet, Silvio and I went out to Wal-Mart and Target to find something that would be good to mount an Accessport. I found a universal cell phone holder, and it works really well, it holds the thing really snug, and I bent the clip on the back to make it slide into the area below the middle vents. Then I remounted the OBD-II to above the plastic knee guard. I will have pics up tomorrow as soon as I leave the bed.

I keep threatening to move that connector, but am too lazy to pull the panel off again. I actually wanted to cut one out of a car at pick and pull and splice in a second connector so I don't have to put it back for Smog. I am sure they would have a conniption if the plug was not in the stock location.

i know what you mean, but there are only two little tabs that hold it in. i did mine without removing the knee guard.

you should send that to cobb and tell them to sell them on their site!

....with a percentage going to you of course....and maybe me for suggesting it

haha, i would, but cobb is highly against the adjustment or use of the accessport while driving, and this is somewhat of a violation of their policies.

^ maybe.. i tested it out today a bit more... and the mount is "autox able" so it can probably take some of the hardest turns without even moving.
