My 5:30 to 6:00 meeting ran until 7:30 (yes, someone scheduled a meeting starting 30 minutes after we're supposed to leave the office). So I didn't leave the office 'till after 8. That was only a 12 hour day... Wed I was there for 17 hours, and 10+ hours every other day this week (and pretty much since Jan for that matter). Fuck this job. |

Sitting on your ass all day *is* tiring. Mainly because you aren't getting exercise, except to go to the vending machine, so everything starts to wind you. |

^8 hours of cart pulling will kick your ass....trust me...Costco carts are big and heavy and the Founder of Costco believes in good ole hard work, so that means no machines, just me and a rope...Too bad i really like the excercise...
|
I sit at a desk all day and stare at a computer. I've gotten more exhausted from this job than my last one...I was on my feet the whole time at my last job.
|
^Shit that post was from me...I forgot to sign out of Nick's name haha!!!

broken car....and i didnt want to roll up in the car im currently using. also i cant really complain about my job...only part that kinda sucks is dealing with the drunks, and that is entertaining sometimes. |
Um...
Have you seen Kevins car(sorry!)? We've all had to use a crappy ride for one reason or another. Fuckin life. |
I love driving my beater car. You should have seen it in August...
|
I personally love driving crappy cars!
When a shitty car gets you some where you want to go, you can't help but feel awesome. I'm sure everyone has driven that old piece of crap car that still has that fighting spirit, and just wants to keep going. My Ford Probe beat Pete's WRX, and Tim's Civic in a snow rally, running on 3 cylinders. Every time you get in that car you just think, "I might not make it home tonight." It's a joy unlike any other. |

One the work deal, sitting behind a computer abusing your brain all day long is a whole different animal compared to a physical job. Trust me, I have had both. Residential framing will kick the snot out of any of you guys. Reading Building Code and translating it into Residential or Commercial plans makes my brain feel like a bowl full of snot. |
