Oui, je sais ;) Merci beaucoup. 2 ans de français dans la lycée. Mais I forget a lot of it, because I never use it... I do remember 2 key phrases tho:

Quest-çe que vous avez comme sandwich?

Je voudrais prendre une douche avec toi

There's another Bobby on the board? When the hell did that happen?

Yep... Bobby Marley (MarleyJB) and she is way better looking than you are and actually drives a Subaru (When she can snitch it from John), a 370z and a Jeep that gets more than 3MPG. :) :P

I think you met her last week.

WRXlerate 2009-08-07 09:08 AM

So is that about the normal size of the crowd for the meets?

Dean 2009-08-07 09:25 AM

It varies widely depending on weather, paydays, economy, stickers, number of women, etc.... :)

We had 20 or so 2 or 3 weeks ago and it has been as low as 3 I think mid last winter.

10 +- 5 is common. Maybe more minus since the economy has been down.

WRXlerate 2009-08-07 11:16 AM

I was there with the 20 or so, that was the first time I'd ever been. So when I showed up last night and there were less than 10, I was surprised. The weather was nice so I thought there would be a good turnout. I don't exactly enjoy standing in a parking lot when its 90+ degrees out, not really my idea of a good time.

Hi. I would be the other Bobby. I was at the other end of the table from you at the meet up. And yes when I can steal it I drive the 08 WRB STi.

100_Percent_Juice 2009-08-10 06:18 PM

I think I always see you guys at the 4 way stop on south meadows.

marleyjb 2009-08-10 08:36 PM

Probably. We live just off Double Diamond. Although there is another 08 WRB that Jon sees there too. Jon sees you there too.

Dean, The iPod is cursed. After plugging it into the car we now have a not so fun vibration under the hood.

MattR 2009-08-13 08:01 PM

Are you serious?

You let Scott drive it last week. It takes a while for the curse to work it's way through all that mass to the engine. :)

Sorry to hear that. Warranty...

If you would autocross that thing, it would shake all the bugs out sooner. You can use fake names to avoid "issues" with the Dealer/factory police. Actually, Bob and Ziggy M would be funny since they would be assumed to be fake.

I'll be calling Carson tomorrow. Jon would be Ziggy. His dad's name is Bob and Jon is the first born son.

100_Percent_Juice 2009-08-13 09:27 PM

You car has the itis. The ipod that I got from Dean tried to assimilate my car but, when that plan became unsuccessful it decided to try and implode on itself. I quickly threw it in the glove box which diffused the situation.

They hate the dark.

Okay, enough w/ the Scott curse. That shit might be fo reals, and I don't need someone stoking up bad-juju since I'm in the middle of trying to get my WRX smogged.

marleyjb 2009-08-14 06:11 AM

It was probably doing it before the meet. But since I drive A Lot different than Jon we didn't notice it.

Yep. Spliced the original back in and it started working. Go figure.

marleyjb 2009-08-17 08:51 PM

So subaru in carson is full of bright people...We dropped the car off yesterday afternoon so they would have it first thing this morning...As of 2:45 they hadn't even touched it...the service person calls at 4 and leaves a msg..."yep there is def engine noise. we'll look into that. we'll call subaru tomorrow." I'm confused. Aren't they subaru certified mechanics? Oh well. As long as they don't scratch it like Lithia did.

A knife fight will settle this right quick.

I am sorry that I have nothing constructive to add. :hangheadinshame:

I'm also sorry for not contributing anything of use in this post. But enjoy this knife fight.
