WRX Exhaust Layout
FYI: Here's the layout of the stock WRX Exhaust.
http://www.doink.net/images/misc/wrx-exhaust.gif (Props to the guy on NASIOC (I don't remember who it was) that drew this up, it looks good!) FYI: The Vishnu exhaust replaces turbo-back like this: turbo -> downpipe (no cat) -> mid-pipe (cat and resinator) -> muffler -> tip the downpipe is longer than the stock one, the mid-pipe replaces bothe the mid and rear pipes, and the pipe for the muffler is way different.[/img] |
Ssoooo.....A cat-back exhaust replaces the rear exhaust and muffler?
So if you were to get a cat-back you would later then upgrade the midpipe, downpipe, and uppipe? And the turboback exhaust replaces up to the up-pipe? or the downpipe? Thanks |
pretty sure it's downpipe.
and look at the up-pipe precatalytic convertor!,, man what was subaru thinking, that's like 8 horsepower i think from what i've read, and if you gut your own stock pipe they can't tell when you take it to the dealership i think. |
