I'm pretty sure I was the last person to install the cams in the motor. And I'm pretty sure I didn't notice cross-threading or over-torquing any of the bolts.

The mangled one looked fine when I went to take it off, but the wrench just slipped a little and rounded the corners. And then no matter how hard I tried to get grip, it just kept rounding off worse and worse. I tried some vice-grips and that's what really mangled it.

I hope I don't have to weld a nut on it, because any splatter on the cams is going to be an expensive mess.
