I appreciate that...My frustration lies in the utter-stupidity of others, which is of course something I have no control over. So I shouldn;t be too upset...

However...case in point....
Part of my job is to handle all citations, tickets and inspections issued to us as a truck line. (Naturally, we get inspected a lot)...But a fucking city cop in Ontario, CA wrote us a ticket for "No License Plate on vehicle"...The piece of equipment he wrote the ticket for is what we call a con gear pictured here

Now FEDERAL law states that these pieces of equipment are not to be registered or plated, they must only be maintained in our maintenance program, which it is.

So I've been on the phone with 15 different ass hole court people today, trying to find out how I can get this ticket thrown out...no one can tell me anything except to show up January 18 in Ontario for my court date...I'm gonna show up with a dynomite belt if this keep s up...

Get the date changed to December 17th and then charge the hotel room to SWE so we can all crash there for GJTC.

You probably already spoke to this person, but the court clerk should be able to tell you where to send/file a brief, even if you do not show up. Alternately, you get a company paid day trip to LA... Look at it that way.
