Interesting thread. learning to get on and off the brakes smoothly is one of the things I try an emphasize when teaching. You have to be able to do the later especially before you can even attempt to trail brake which is an advanced skill that he discusses just to be clear.

When he covers the turning less to turn more is another thing that is supper important and counter intuitive. The best example ever was at a Street Survival and a pickup truck was on a wet skid pad and jerked the wheel to full lock and the tires actually stopped turning as the truck continued straight ahead with the wheels at about 45 degrees.
