Yes, I'll fix it for you. Again.
Default Misc Computer Gear - Cheap or Free

In light of all that computer talk, and my finally getting things rebuilt here, I have a couple items I don't need anymore and will get rid of cheap or free.

FREE:

A big-a** HP color flatbed scanner model 6300C, USB connection. I use the little tiny ones now, I don't need this. Should still work fine. Free.

Linksys BEFSR41 Router with 4-port Switch 10/100 not wireless! Never used. Free.

WD 30gb HDD model WD300EB - IDE, old and loud, has been wiped. Free. Pending to Kevin
WD 60gb HDD model WD600BB - IDE, old and loud, has been wiped. Free. Pending to Kevin

Cheap:

1) Motherboard and CPU combo - ASUS A7V266-E with AMD Athlon XP2100
Comes with a Vantec NB cooler and a big copper aftermarket heatsink, forget the name. I can throw in a fan and PCI network card too. This needs DDR266 PC2100 ram, and AGP graphics. It has onboard IDE RAID and sound as well. Worked fine the last time I ran it a few years ago. If it doesn't work for you, I'll give you a refund no problem since it's been sitting so long. $35

2) ATI OEM FireGL X1 128mb AGP 8x video card. Dual DVI, I also put a bigger fan on this one. Works great. This is the workstation version of the 9700 Pro. $35 - pending to kidatari

3) ACard 6896 SATA RAID controller, 4-port SATA 150, 66MHZ PCI capable, RAID 1, 0, JBOD, 0+1 $30

4) Rackmount EATX capable case. I tried it out once, didn't have a use for rack-mount. It's beige, has a locking window. Like new, I might even have the original box in the garage. If there is any interest in this, I will dig it out. $30

If you want any of these, I can bring them to a meet.

6mm benchrest barrel, 1/14 twist, .266 neck, chambered in 6mmBR, stainless, came off of a Holland V-Block setup, will require some turning and headspacing. Lands are sharp, has a ton of life left....oh wait, wrong forum.......

And I'll take those drives, if you think they're worth using still. Can't make it to any meets though.

Functionally, they are GTG, they are just older, noisy models. I'll be up at UNR Thursday if you want to swing by and pick them up.

Does the scanner work well for scanning pictures? How huge is it?

Yeah, it scans color just fine, at 1200dpi I think. It's about 12"x20"x5", I'm looking for the power cord, but can't find it. It would be an easy replacement, as it takes a standard AC cord with a two-pin plug. The drivers and various information are to be had online, however I do have a USB cable for it.

I'll pick up the card for kidatari. I'll even spot him the money if he hasn't paid you yet.
