Default Rallycross Onboard Cams with the DI STi

Rallycross Onboard Cams with the DI STi

Come for a ride with the DirtyImpreza STi #409 at the SCCA Johnsons Valley National Challenge that was held on 5/17/2008 at Soggy Dry Lake in Lucerne Valley, CA. Competing in both SCCA and CRS classes driver A. Ekinaka took second and first respectively. Not bad for running all season tires against guys with rally tires and wheels, although their advantage was minimal on the hard packed dirt.

Title: Rallycross Onboard Cams with the DI STi
Runtime: 2:16
Release Date: 6/10/08

Nice video... I love the footbox cam!

BTW: please try to post these threads in our motorsports forum, this is like the 4th one I've had to move!

Alex will be shocked that you are admitting that RallyCross is a form of motorsport.

I never understood that attitude... MattR and I tried to start a rallycross program under the Reno SCCA in like 2003. The program failed due to lack of interest, and we both ended up going a different (paved) direction in motorsports.

Where this belief that we don't like/respect/enjoy rally type stuff came from is beyond me.

I'm still puzzled as well. My experience with SCCA and Rally America teams and competition apparently meant that I wasn't being fair; I'm all for people getting out in the dirt, I just can't justify a dedicated car to do it properly or safely.

Also, nice video
