Default I found some Flex's

So, like the title says, I found some Flex's with the EDFC. However, they do have 12k miles on them. When do people normally have to rebuild them?
Thanks.

I think you should be fine for a while unless the previous owner really rallied the shit out of his car. I think most people never even bother to rebuild Flex's... they just turn up the rebound as they wear. I would guess you should be able to see 60,000 miles on a set before they really needed work, unless like I said, they're really getting beat on.

Cory, how many miles do you have on your Teins? I gotta guess it's a bunch, and his car is probably the best handling Subaru I've ever driven.

AFAIK, Tein Flex are not rebuildable, but they're intended for street use so they last a while. I would not be bothered by 12k if I were looking at them, provided the price was sufficiently better than for new.

You can rebuild Flexes, its just a lot of people don't consider it worth it. Rebuild is $200+ a pop IIRC, which means you are paying to $800-$1000 for a rebuild.

Yeah, they are rebuildable, and I've got a metric shit-ton of miles on mine, without so much as a hiccup in performance the entire time. Frankly, they're awesome as far as I'm concerned.

I've heard/read good things about them on NASIOC. I was considering them before I got Scott's Konis.
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...ight=bc+racing I'm not going to read through all that shit, my coilovers are bought, have fun
