Here are a few pictures I took. I was only there on Sunday in the afternoon, for a little bit, and these were taken with my cellphone, so bear with me.

Clicking on the pictures will take you to the flickr page, which has the full size images.

I just spent 5 minutes looking at your new avatar... dammit.

Those actually came out really nice for being taken on your phone! But you've got one of those snazzy smart phones huh?

I guess it figures that I stop looking in the motorsports section because I have no car and I miss this. I would have gone to just check it out. I saw a motorcycle training class in that parking lot a while ago. Are there going to be more events at GSR using that lot?

Nothing is planned yet, but everything seemed positive. According to the Solo Director, he was hoping for more next year.

Yeah its not bad for a phone. The pictures are better than my first digital camera that I got like 10 years ago.

Why do those pictures look like they've been run through a light HDR process?

^ this one especially.

The Pre has a bunch of post-processing built into it. They do a lot of sharpening, post-shot whitebalancing (what we are likely seeing here) and algorithms to add depth of field.

Well, the pictures really seem to "pop"... but I hope all that processing can be adjusted/turned off because the pictures look very processed. It would suck to have to accept them like that if you're trying to take a particular picture.

You can't adjust it now, but a lot of people have been asking for it, so I would assume it could easily be incorporated in a future update.

Also, what is funny if you take a look at Cody's car, when I tried to take a picture of the "you got beat by a wagon" sticker, with all the reflection from the sky in the windshield, it automatically adjusted itself and yellow got really washed out. 10 seconds later I walk around to the front of the car, and the yellow pops so much more.

That forester was tearing it up! Good stuff. He spent some $$$ on his tread though.

As the safety steward for the event, that was the least of our problems. I was more concerned w/ the convertible vette that was out there drifting at ever damn light post in the parking lot.

Station two was kind of sketch. If anyone lost control of their car around those first few turns, It would've been all over... By the way, there are a few pictures on my facebook page. http://www.new.facebook.com/album.ph...7&l=c37018237d

Yeah, that station was a bit hairy if you stood along the fence in the shade. But that's why we marked the actual station spot around the corner of the fence so you were out of harms way, though it meant no shade.

My car messes with cameras, big time. Sometimes it's totally washed out and other times, it's fluorescent nacho.

Ironically, the back is actually less washed out than the hood which still has original paint in real life, but your pics show the opposite. Why'd you take a picture of the front of my car anyway. It looks so awful right now. But I just got a JDM STi grill for it in the mail today and the hood should be here later this week. If you didn't notice, a co-worker backed into my car.

Oh, hey Nick, thanks for showing up and taking pics even though you weren't feeling well.

It's not unusual, nor does it mean there's anything fundamentally wrong w/ your suspension setup.
