I'm trying to install Resistance: Fall of Man but it says it needs to perform an initial setup process. This will take 45-50 seconds. Press the START button to continue. Okay, well I tried the start button on both controllers and restarting the ps3 but the stupid prompt just keeps flashing at me.

I'm probably not pushing it right.

Oh, and Scotty, the triangle only had inches so I used a clear ruler and it looks to me like it is 20mm. I"ll try to bring it to the next meet for ya.

yea, ps3's do strange things sometimes. Like last night mine somehow magically changed the video settings on its self. and then i couldnt see a picture. but its now working..

One thing that could have caused the issue was the Guitar Hero USB>wireless dongle. Removing it was one of the things I tried before RFoM started working. Oh well, I'm a happy camper now.

Woot. Bethesda announced that Obsidian will be working on a Fallout game called "Fallout: New Vegas". Its meant to be a story separate from the previous fallouts, but in the same universe.

I can't wait!

I'm cool with Obsidian taking the reins as long as they're given enough time to actually complete the game. . . Lucasarts rushed them on Star Wars KotOR 2 and the game ended up completely hosed.

Is anyone going to give the new Need For Speed a shot? I know, I know, NFS FTL but this one has potential. Developers are from GTR2 and the guy doing tire physics is from Richard Burns Rally. Lots of licensed tracks from the US and Europe, 72 licensed cars from AE86s to DB9R, cars are fully customizeable inside and out (yes inside, see cockpit view below) and it's designed for use with a quality wheel combo in mind. The screen shots don't look half bad either...

Saw the commercial on TV last night and was very impressed given the "Real game play" graphic flashing at the bottom. The sense of speed was certainly there.

I downloaded the demo for http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Worms_%282007_video_game%29 this past weekend and ended up buying it on Monday. Somebody else buy it so we can battle. PSN: yellowsnow4

Need for Speed Shift looks cool, but I'm waiting for Forza 3. One of the videos of Need for Speed looked pretty cool. The in car "helmet view" actually snaps back into the seat when going from 0-full throttle, looked pretty intense. Really brining a sense of speed to the game.

I picked up Dirt 2 the other day, its pretty fun...I never played the first but this game is a blast!

Dirt 2 is a great game. I rented it last week and I've really been enjoying it but I'm playing the demo for Forza right now and it plays AMAZINGLY. I will have to buy forza, whether I can afford it or not at the time...
