Car is in great shape. I drive it about 5 miles a day, as I work a mile from home. Has never been raced or tracked or auto x'ed. Bought a new Tacoma and want a snowmobile which is why i am selling. I have put 25,000 miles on it in 5 years. Previous owner was an older gentleman. There are two dings on it, shown in pictures. They are small. There is a small tear in the drivers side seat on the seam, easily repaired. Car also has the stock alarm system in it with beeper remote. The drivers side electric lock just stopped working, so i do that manually. It's probably just a fuse. AC needs to be recharged, and the last time i did that it was $40. Other than that, all the performance mods are very recent. The Koni shocks have about 200 miles on them. The car handles very well and is set up to be very predictable. You can dial in the shocks for it to behave however you want, but i have it setup for spirited road driving (not harsh, but handles like a go kart). Pretty fast for a NA car with the header, hi flo cat and exhaust. Car needs to be smogged, and will not pass with all the hi flow stuff on there. I have the original header and performance brullen stainless steel axle back muffler bought from subaru that i can include so you can smog it if you want (live in california). Or, i will have it put back on and do it for an additional $200 or whatever that costs me.

Pics coming shortly once i figure out how to imbed them! or i can email them to you upon request.

Thanks,

There are a bunch more pictures. If someone can use the attached zip file and imbed them, I'd appreciate it as I'm pretty dumb at this. Also, I could email them to someone if they could imbed them that way.
Thanks,

Mark

Great car. Too bad Alfa's & Subaru's was the last place to touch it though.

Thanks! I don't think there are any mechanical problems with the car anyway, and none that would have been caused by the above mentioned shop. Had the anti lift kit removed and that solved the harsh clunking noise. I don't want the above post to discourage any buyers. I'll be glad to let anyone have it checked out by whatever shop they like.

Mark

Joe doesn't have a great reputation in these parts, but with as long as it's been since the repairs, it's probably fine.

So at a comparison to a WRX how would it perform? Speed? Handling?

Slower, but similar handling to a WRX with similar mods. It would feel faster under 45 mph or so.

That RS is beautiful! If it's still available when I get back from Iraq I'd like to come look at it.

Anyone is welcome to come up for a drive. We can go up old highway 40 to Sugarbowl. I've got a guy coming up from Fresno to check it out today at 3. It handles very well, really tight. It's definately not as fast as a wrx, but it feels pretty quick. The handling makes up for it though.
