Hey guys. I signed up a few minutes ago due to very bad experiences with Nasioc and a friend said you guys are much nicer. My first 2 threads on Nasioc got flamed to all hell and i learned quickly that's not a very cool site.

Anyways my name is Michael and I have a Dark Gray 06 WRX. If anyone is wondering who that sexy as hell lady is in my Avatar, it's Natalie Portman in a nude photo shoot! Anyways when do you guys meet? Flat4RN meets at Inn and out but usually only 3-4 turn up. I want to go on a cruise with a big group of fellow Subby owners!

Welcome!

Unfortunately, during the winter everyone's meets are pretty sparse. We're over at Tamarack Junction every Thursday at 6pm. I haven't made it out the last few meets, but the last time I was out there were only 3 or 4 people there too. Rumor has it there should be a few more folks that than tonight though. However, we don't really "cruise" at all. We just BS in the parking lot if the weather's not too bad before and after grabbing a bite to eat at Sully's restaurant.

As far as NASIOC... you probably got caught up in OT there. Off Topic on NASIOC is really it's own website, and they're not friendly unless you lurk for a long while and learn the ins and outs of the place. SECCS can also be the same way, though we're not *quite* as harsh... but we don't take kindly to stuff like street racing and fanboism here either.

There probably won't be another Cruise-aru until Spring. But even with a month's notice, only 5 cars showed up.

You'll probably have better luck in the spring getting people to go... a winter cruise is a tough drive to get people excited about.

I was actually in Nooby chat as odd as that is! I would expect the least flaming there if anyone had any common sense or respect. Yea my post wasn't about street racing. It was about me getting bored and straight piping my STI axelback i swapped and my resonator.

I'm a recent owner of a modded SRT4 and S2000 also so I'm not a fanboi. I've been all over the place with my cars haha.

Anyways is it the Tamarak the the bottom of MT Rose highway and on South Virginia?

Aww ok. Well maybe i'll hit you guys up on my next day off. I know a couple really cool cruise routes that aren't that long and won't burn up our tanks much. Maybe i'll be inviting you guys next week sometime. I usually drive to Virginia city and back. That's a really fun route. Or fooling around on Rattle Snake Mt.

One of my favorite local drives is from Incline to V.C., down the truck route to Carson. Then from Carson back through to Incline on 50 and 28.

Bahah. Well I ganked the pic from some dudes avatar on my Clippers site a couple months ago. I think he said it was from a Maxim or something? So not a true nude unfortunately haha.

Hey man. Yea since the DP and UP are still stock and the DP has my 2 cats, the noise isn't loud at all. It's not even much louder than an SPT I think. Yea that was me. I posted a video and like on the 3rd response someone said "Your car sounds like shit, get a real exhaust". I guess the moderators didn't like my response because I got a 6 point deduction of some sort LOL. With the cats in my car it sounds just like any other WRX with a catback, unless you can pick up on the slightest changes in pitch not normally registered by the human ear.

I'll still never understand on forums why people can't keep it to simple opinions that aren't personal immature attacks. I'm a bigtime poster on sports forums and I rarely had those problems.
