That was the NORPAC SCCA convention, when SECCS ran a show and shine of autocross cars. Sergio (BOO) happened to have a brand new EVO at the time, so it's in the pictures. It was kinda one of the cooler events SECCS organized. Not to mention it helped earn RenoSCCA a loaner WRX for a year for membership growth/ retention (that we had to decline because the insurance costs were astronomical ).

We ended up getting an article printed in the SCCA newsletter about it: http://www.seccs.org/forums/showthread.php?t=1689 Unfortunately, no one bothered to quote the article on our forum, and it's not up on SCCA.com, nor can I find it in the Internet Archive.

I got the page that links to the article with a short blurb, but the article isn't there.
