Hi guys, I haven't posted in forever, or even been to the site in forever, but have a friend with a problem.

I (he) needs a good used, or rebuildable passenger side head for a 2L WRX. He burned a valve.

Please PM me if you have one to sell or a lead on where to get one. Thanks!

Yes, at 160,000mi he burned a valve from his AEM intake, or at least that's my theory. We found a head, and I am going to replace it this weekend with his help. Have done lots of head gaskets, and other engine work but never a Subaru.

Do you work at independent?

I feel kind of bad taking away the business from you guys, if you do work there, but he doesn't have the money to do it...

haha.. ya i work there.. thats why i was asking.. and dont feel bad.. if youre helping him or making a little side money its all good! i love side work.. and doing heads on subarus arent too bad.. just make sure you loosen and tighten the head bolts in the factory sequence. getting the head vacuum checked and surfaced is a very good idea! if you need 2.0 head gaskets, i have a fresh set chillen at my house.. $30 and the set is yours. any questions or anything feel free to pm me

Yes, he's been back on the road for about three weeks now with a transplanted head.
