I saw 3 GD WRB STI's driving around on Wednesday...popular color

Tried waving one of the guys cause we were driving side by side on south virginia for awhile...he definitely did not wave back. Had stock wheels powder coated and some COBB and other window decals.
How come every time I wave to you guys you quickly look away?! My feelings are hurt haha

I had to learn the hard way that only 1 out of 10 Subie drivers you wave at in Reno, wave back. In Norcal everyone waves.

That's due to the higher concentration of Subaru's up here.

Yeah if I waved at every Forester, Outback, and Impreza I see I'd have one exhausted arm...and I assume they would all think I'm crazy. But I would think my fellow STI owners would be looking and waving back? Not a single one since I got my car....

That's what I thought too. I don't have an STi but you figure turbo'd Subarus with aftermarket wheels and/or exhausts would wave back, but it's really rare. I do get waved at like once a year, but it's super rare.

Yea, people rarely wave in this town anymore. It used to happen all the time just a year ago. Now rarely. Especially when Im driving the wagon. Although since I put the new wheels on, I've had more people notice me, and actually got a couple waves today.

Well I don't know who any of you are in person but if you see some chick in a white STI waving frantically, please wave back cause I can't take any more rejection.
Although I'm getting windows tinted tomorrow so now you won't be able to see me

Actually... it was a '08+ STi that waved the other day... was that you? I don't know that I've ever seen you on the street in the '08?

No wasnt me. Last time I waved I was in my wrx. Few months ago or probably last summer. Dont remember exactly when.

Nope...the bummer is that I'm not "allowed" to roll them down for at least 5 days after the tint so I had to ride around, baking in the 75 degree weather today.
