				 Car: '94 L | Towing capability?

This is totally out of right feild but how effective would a WRX be to tow something? Say a light car and trailer? Is it possible or has it been done before? Just curious.

It should be able to pull a small utility trailer with no issues, however a trailer hitch would look horrible...

I see no problem pulling some dirt bikes or a jet ski but a car might start to push the limits

IIRC the tow capacity for a WRX is 2000 lbs. That's pretty much a little utility trailer, or maybe a dirt bike. Towing another car is right out... not enough power/torque and you'd probably kill the clutch and gearbox. Most importantly, you'd have a BITCH of a time slowing down w/ another car pushing on you... hell, you'd probably get spun out by the trailer unless you were braking uphill.

3000lb.+ Boat and trailer. Rear Wheel Drive with tires in the water. 5%+ grade boat ramp Car that has next to zero low end torque... Can you say water spraying burn out as the car slowly slides back and sinks in to the lake?
